Davido, Afrobeat music band Antibalas based in New York and The Fela Queens performed together on stage at the Lincoln center Brooklyn, New York.
The show put together by Okayafrica was a perfect stage for the rich sounds of Afrobeat/Afrobeats to meet and the collaborations transcends it origin, Davido on the other hand amplified the stage as the sheer excitement of the audience was electrified.

Antibalas is a Brooklyn-based musical band modeled after the late Afrobeat pioneer and legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti‘s Africa 70 band and Eddie Palmieri’s Harlem River Drive Orchestra. Although their music generally follows the musical architecture and language of afrobeat, it incorporates elements of jazz, funk, dub, improvised music, and traditional drumming from Cuba and West Africa.
