Legendary designer Tommy Hilfiger and supermodel Gigi Hadid have stormed the fashion industry again with their collaboration which birthed a nautical inspired collection of modern classics; influenced by Gidi’s personal style and Hilfiger’s classics.
The awesome crafts was witnessed by Taylor Swift, Kris Jenner and more, outside on a South St. Seaport pier
The collections designed as a collaboration between the two, was packed with the kind of sexy pieces which describes the supermodel; Gigi herself, the exact kind of outfits she’d be wearing on the street in her own everyday life.
Skintight pleather jeans, cut-off denim shorts, embellished black motorcycle jackets, long navy pea-coats, striped fitted sweaters and sweater dresses, oversized cream crew sweaters and boyfriend jackets, letter shirts, oversized hoodies, satin basketball tanks and boxing shorts are just some of the amazing pieces. They were all layered, mixed and matched to create a multitude of want-to-wear-it-now looks at affordable prices.
The collections also ranged from some of Gigi’s street style favorites like statement jackets and slim trousers; to looks of the moment; thigh-high stockings, to Hilfiger classics; logo tees and tracksuits.
Tommy and Gigi invited all their fans and folks to watch the fabulous show on a live stream, while the lucky invitees wandered through a fully set up carnival complete with rides, hot dogs, french fry stands and tattoo parlors on the “Tommy Pier.” The runway was a wooden pier itself and the TOMMYxGiGi fall collection show began just as the sun went down over the Manhattan skyline.
Models were done up in Gigi’s image, with natural hair and a fresh face makeup look with a blur of highlighters across their cheekbones.
