JJ as she is commonly referred to by friends told us this via an online interview when we reached out to find updates on the amazing plus sized pageantry.
She stated this siting a story her grand mother had told her when she was young, that an African woman is classified beautiful by the amount of flesh she has on.
Smile, please don’t misunderstood me on that, I remember my grandmother’s story from those days, when a woman get married, they take her to a room, where they will feed her very well and teach her, how to be a good wife. She also told me, that, the wife must come out curvy, fabulous and thick, before going to her husband’s house. I am not saying slim ladies are not beautiful, but I am telling you that, the true Africa women are plus size ladies, with full figure body, well shaped and healthy too
The Miss Curvy CEO who is currently in Hamburg, Germany to nurse her new baby boy with her family told Smart9ja that the third season of the pageantry will hold this later this year, stressing that the winner of the show in 2015; Queen Sandra was to wear the crown for two year, hence providing the team the opportunity to look out for more sponsors and partners.
